Fish & Chip Shop (Takeaway Only)
Location: Tamworth
Hours: Monday – Saturday | Approx hours per week
We're on the lookout for a reliable, hands-on employee to run the day-to-day operations of our busy takeaway-only fish & chip shop. If you're organised, calm under pressure, and happy to lead from the front, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
• Managing daily shop operations and smooth service
• Leading and supervising a small team
• Opening and closing the shop
• Cash handling and basic reporting
• Stock control, ordering, and maintaining food quality
• Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and compliance at all times
• Jumping in where needed — from customer service to kitchen support
What we're looking for
• Previous hospitality or takeaway management experience (essential)
• Minimum 1 year of hospitality or takeaway management experience required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A hands-on, can-do attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and reliability
• Food safety knowledge (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Immediate start availability required
