Stoneworker Position
The ideal candidate will be skilled in interpreting detailed drawings to exact specifications.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings to fine specifications
* Practical experience in handling a variety of materials, including difficult-to-work-with materials
* Construction and repair of stone and large masonry slabs
* Applying or removing mortar with a trowel
* Skilled cutting, shaping, and installing polished stones and bricks using machines and hand tools to high precision
* Constructing arches and decorative brickwork/stonework
* Using levels to check building alignment
* Strong attention to detail
Key skills include:
* At least 3 years' experience in stonework, bricklaying, and installation
* Completion of Certificate III in Stonemasonry, Bricklaying, and Blocklaying or equivalent
* Physical fitness and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
