We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Business Development & Marketing Associate to help grow our advertising partnerships and strengthen connections within the local business community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and bringing like-minded businesses together to create genuine collaboration and shared success.
About the Role
You will be responsible for securing advertising partnerships and managing marketing initiatives that support local businesses. A key part of the role will be planning and hosting advertising partners networking events, designed to encourage collaboration, cross-promotion, and long-term partnerships within the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify, approach, and secure advertising and sponsorship partners
* Develop and manage advertising packages and partnership opportunities
* Build strong, ongoing relationships with local businesses and stakeholders
* Plan, coordinate, and host an advertising partners social networking event
* Work closely with internal teams to align marketing and partnership activity
* Promote a strong "local first" message and encourage business synergy
* Track partnership performance and provide regular updates and insights
About You
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience in business development, sales, marketing, or partnerships
* Confident networking and presenting to business owners and stakeholders
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
* Community-minded with a passion for supporting local businesses
* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
* Experience in events, sponsorship, or advertising is highly regarded
* Experience with social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, Meta Business Suite) is highly regardedWhat We Offer
