Lead Parts Interpreter (Brooks Equipment)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Parts Interpreter to support our expanding XCMG construction and mining equipment range across Australia.

You'll play a key role supporting our customers, technicians, and operations team while working directly with the XCMG factory to deliver high-level parts support across the mining and construction sectors.

Responsibilities and Duties
Leading the parts interpreting function for XCMG machinery and equipment
Work with a globally recognised machinery brand
Providing technical parts support to customers, technicians, and internal teams
Managing urgent breakdown requirements and minimising downtime
Supporting inventory control and parts operations
Follow up on outstanding orders and advise the customer and / or department of their status, ensuring all enquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner
Ordering and receipting of parts ordered, including organising emergency breakdown parts for machines whilst ensuring their timely delivery.
Complete warehousing duties including receivals, pickingandpackingand deliveryof parts as required
Utilise company software to enter data, including but not limited to invoices, receivals, quotes, purchase orders, etc.
Assisting managers/staff with ad hoc duties
Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, representatives and obtain information, specification, quotations and negotiate deals that benefit BrooksEquipment
Obtain pricing from aftermarket suppliers where required
Ensure all operations are compliant with Environment and OS&H Standards
Requirements
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter within earthmoving machinery knowledge is advantageous
Driver's License
Forklift License (recommended)
Understanding of parts management processes
Ability to read and interpret exploded parts diagrams
Sound computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
NetSuite software experience desirable but not essential
