Located in Denham Court in Sydney's Southwest, and set to open later this year, Bolton Clarke Willowdale will be a newly built Residential Aged Care home. It will offer 136 bedrooms with a variety of accommodation options for residents.
Built over 2 levels, this premium home will include resident communal spaces such as lounges and dining areas, cinema, gym, café, salon and function room.
We are seeking two part time Baristas to manage our Café working 9am - 5pm, across 7days (Mon - Sun) on rotating rosters.
**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking two experienced Baristas to join our Willowdale team and manage our onsite Café. The Café will service our residents and their visitors, along with an external entrance to cater to our local community and creating a local community hub for everyone to enjoy.
You will undertake all duties in accordance with the food safety and hygiene legislation, regulation and standards, including those specifically relating to the services of food to vulnerable persons and other relevant Bolton Clarke quality and customer service standards.
- Preparation of beverages in line with customer requirements
- Preparation of meals in line with customer requirements and presentation standards
- Handling payments through Point of Sale System
- Monitoring, cleaning and tidying of back and front of house
- Assembly and preparation of ingredients and products for sale
- Assist in service for functions held in designated function areas
- General cleaning duties within a kitchen, food preparation area, cold and storerooms, including the cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in the kitchen
- Ensure all food is stored at the correct areas and temperatures, labelled and dated in line with food
**About You**
The ideal barista would be confident in working front of house and be responsible for providing first class service to our lovely residents, their visitors and locals. A positive attitude and previous experience in a similar role are essential.
Requirements for the role are:
- Barista or Hospitality related qualification (e.g. Food hygiene/Food preparation)
- Barista experience in a previous role
- Previous hospitality and food service experience
- Warm and positive personality
- Excellent customer service skills
