An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join our Property team in Adelaide.

The Role
Due to growth of our Adelaide Property team, we are seeking a Legal Assistant with at least 3 years' experience to join the team on a full-time basis. You will be an integral part of the team supporting a highly regarded, respected and experienced Partner and Special Counsel and their broader team, who have been working together for over 10 years. The property team works across the full lifecycle of property, leasing and conveyancing transactions, acting in matters that are often high value and time sensitive for clients.
There is also an opportunity for career progression into a Paralegal role and take on more responsibility, visibility and direct involvement working on matters for the right candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with diary management and travel arrangements
* Matter management and financial processes, including open matters, conflict checks, billing, trust and office requirements and archiving matters
* Supporting the team with general administrative tasks, including answering calls, attending to mail and couriers, liaising with clients
* Contributing to stream leasing procedures and general conveyancing workflow by providing organised, accurate and timely support
* Assisting with the preparation of lease and conveyancing documentation
* Supporting due diligence processes, including title reviews, ordering searches and document collation
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Secretary. Experience in property is desirable, or a genuine interest in property will be considered
* Highly organised, shows imitative with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage their time and competing deadlines
* Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and keeping matters moving
* Storing written and verbal communication skills and a professional, client focused approach
* A team player who contributes positively to a fast paced and collaborative environment
