Linear Clinical Research is a not-for-profit organisation which specialises in the delivery of clinical trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas. With approximately 250 employee’s working across three metro locations, we are now looking for a Payroll Officer to join our organisation on a part-time basis.
This role will be located in Nedlands and can be offered on a 0.4 or 0.6FTE depending on the availability of the preferred applicant.
Your Role in Our Future
As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate delivery of efficient and compliant fortnightly payroll for approximately 250 employees. As Payroll is managed using Ready Workforce, which is integrated with our HRIS system, this role is focussed on maintaining accuracy and supporting the organisation’s commitment to operational excellence through precise and timely payroll execution.
* Ensuring the integration of employee records into the payroll system including the setup of new employee’s, award allocation, variations to existing employment conditions and terminations are accurate.
* Ensuring employees have the relevant access and permissions to necessary functions across the payroll system.
* Extracting payroll data, including leave revaluations and payroll accruals on a monthly basis for reporting.
* Responding to payroll queries and provide advice and interpretation of Award conditions relating to employee wages and salary benefits.
* Providing support with the interpretation of modern awards.

Your Experience
We are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience;
* Demonstrated experience providing payroll services within medium sized organisations.
* Good organisational and time management skills to meet strict payroll deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation.
