We're seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to manage end-to-end contracts and procurement for construction and capital projects. This role is ideal for a commercial-focused professional with strong negotiation skills, contract experience, and the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
* Lead sourcing and tendering activities, including contract negotiation, implementation, and award recommendations.
* Draft, review, and manage Statements of Work and special contractual conditions.
* Provide commercial guidance to project teams, supporting complex projects.
* Ensure contract compliance, manage claims, and resolve disputes effectively.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, focusing on quality, risk allocation, and performance.
* Collaborate across procurement and delivery teams to drive value, efficiency, and best practice.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and 5+ years' experience in procurement/contracts, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
* Experience in construction contract management and quantity surveying (preferred).
* Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to fostering a psychologically safe and high-performing team environment.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment, with resilience and autonomy.
