Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments and collections, and supporting the broader finance team with day-to-day transactional accounting.
THE ROLE
* Perform and maintain accurate bank reconciliations
* Provide administrative support for the management of property leases
* Assist with the review, processing, and management of expense and corporate card claims
* Administer company credit cards, including fuel cards, Bunnings cards, and toll accounts
* Process bank guarantee and insurance bond requests and maintain associated registers
* Maintain the ERP system by setting up new projects and managing approval workflows
* Support the preparation and lodgement of annual FBT and income tax returns
* Prepare and submit responses to Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) surveys
* Provide support with BAS preparation
* Assist in the calculation of supplier rebate accruals
* Review and monitor general expense transactions
* Assist with the set-up and processing of ad-hoc payments for authorisation
* Provide general ad-hoc support to the Finance function as required
About You
* Attention to detail and time management skills
* Accurate data entry skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building positive stakeholder relationships
* Intermediate level experience in MS Office
* Team player with sound verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter with a can-do proactive attitude
* Police Clearance
Desirable Skills
* JD Edwards (Oracle based system) experience
* Other ERP experience
* Accounting qualification such as CPA
