Pump Fitter l Full Time ??? Opportunity: We are looking for a skilled and driven Pump Fitter to join our dynamic team.

About the Role: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine job requirements.
Fit, assemble, and install machinery and equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other mechanical components.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
Work closely with team members and other trades to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
Report progress, issues, and equipment status to supervisors and relevant stakeholders promptly.

Experience: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Machining or Diesel Fitting) White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate) Current Australian Driver's Licence (manual preferred) Valid High Risk Work Licence (desirable) Forklift and/or EWP Licence (advantageous) Confined Space and Working at Heights (preferred but not essential) 2–5 years' experience in mechanical fitting, specifically with pump systems and dewatering equipment Strong mechanical aptitude in: Pump maintenance, overhauls, and repairs (submersible, centrifugal, diaphragm, etc.) Diagnosing faults and conducting preventative maintenance Pipework installations and fluid transfer systems Experience in mining, civil, or industrial environments preferred Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus Safety-focused with strong understanding of WHS procedures and regulations Ability to work independently or collaboratively under minimal supervision ??
