Cyber Security Assessor Job Description
This role involves evaluating and implementing cyber security best practices, including the Governance Risk Compliance framework, Protective Security Policy Framework, Information Security Manual controls, Australian Cyber Security Centre Essential 8, audits, reports and certification. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, as well as proven technical writing experience.
The job requires practical industry experience as a certified security assessor, along with recognised certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, GIAC Security Leadership Certification, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, and Global Security Network Architecture.
