Midwest Community Living Association (MWCLA) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing them with a lifestyle of choice and opportunity within the Geraldton community. We are seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our team in making a meaningful difference.
As a Support Worker, you will be instrumental in helping individuals build the skills necessary for independent living and make their own lifestyle choices. This role is both challenging and rewarding, offering the chance to support clients in leading fulfilling lives. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
* Facilitating community participation through regular activities and events.
* Providing personal care, including help with showering and toileting.
* Encouraging social interaction and friendship-building within the community.
