This role is responsible for ensuring seamless data flow, integration clarity, and system alignment across all touchpoints, supporting delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities

* Drive and own integration design decisions, selecting integration patterns, data flow approaches, and system interaction models
* Design and govern integration patterns including API‐based, event‐driven, and batch processing approaches
* Define and document integration workflows, data mappings, and transformation logic to ensure data integrity and consistency
* Develop and maintain integration artefacts including interface catalogues, integration registers, and data flow diagrams
* Lead integration with third‐party vendors (identity, payments, credit, etc.), validating APIs, data contracts, and performance expectations
* Ensure integration designs address performance, latency, error handling, retry mechanisms, and resilience
* Support data migration and system transition activities, ensuring sequencing and dependency alignment
* Work closely with business analysts, architects, and developers to translate requirements into clear integration specifications
* Troubleshoot integration issues across environments (Dev, SIT, UAT, Prod) and drive timely resolution
* Ensure all integration solutions comply with regulatory and security expectations, including Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre, and Consumer Data Right

* Hands‐on expertise in API‐based integrations (REST/SOAP), event‐driven architectures, and batch processing
* Experience working with modern core banking platforms (e.g. Fiserv Finxact or similar API‐first systems)
* Proven ability to define and manage end‐to‐end data flows, system interactions, and integration dependencies
* Experience working with third‐party vendors, validating integration capabilities, data contracts, and constraints
* Strong understanding of banking processes (lending, onboarding, payments, servicing) and how they translate into integrations
* Proven exposure to API‐first and event‐driven architectures, with ability to support real‐time integrations
* Strong understanding of integration security, authentication (e.g., OAuth2), and data protection frameworks
* Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues across environments and drive resolution under pressure
* Strong documentation skills with ability to create clear, structured integration artefacts
* Hands‐on experience with tools such as Swagger, Postman, and integration/middleware platforms
