About the Role
Based in Adelaide, the Inventory Manager role is offered as a 12-month fixed contract and reports to the General Manager Supply Chain. The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and visibility of inventory across our Processing Facility at Royal Park, and associated supply chain including third party providers.
This position acts as the control point between physical operations and system data, ensuring all inventory movements are correctly recorded, reconciled, and understood.
The role will play a key part in supporting the transition to Microsoft Business Central, establishing robust processes and improving overall inventory performance.
Kery Responsibilities
* Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy across all systems and physical stock.
* Establish and maintain robust reconciliation processes, including regular stocktakes and variance analysis, with root cause identification and corrective actions.
* Deliver clear and timely inventory reporting, including stock on hand, movements, and aged or at-risk inventory to support decision-making.
* Support the successful implementation and ongoing optimisation of Microsoft Business Central, ensuring strong system integrity and user adherence to processes.
* Develop and embed standardised inventory processes and controls across the Royal Park site to improve consistency and reduce risk.
* Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to ensure alignment between system data and physical product flow.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
* Provide flexible supportacross the supply chain function, particularly during peak periods or periods of change.
* Provide timely and accurate inventory information to support customer commitments.
Qualifications/Experience
* Minimum of five years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in aquaculture, food production, or manufacturing.
* Effective and proactive inventory management skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central an advantage.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Experience with ERP systems and procurement tools.
* Knowledge of supplier risk management and sustainability practices.
