Our Team is looking for a leader to join our Maintenance and Repair team. This position will involve managing a team of mechanics based in Dubbo and Wellington.
* Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the Dubbo and Wellington Fleet Workshops including Field Service
* Carrying out and assisting mechanics with diagnosis and repairs of complex systems and equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
* Leading workshop teams in Dubbo and Wellington
* Effective communication with key stakeholders regarding machine maintenance and availability to minimize disruptions to works/construction projects
Key Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or Qualified and licensed Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic/Motor Mechanic with demonstrated solid experience in the trade
* Demonstrated experience in supervision and leadership of a small team
* Experience with Asset Management Systems and Software
* High level of communication skills
* Demonstrated competency in computer operation and data entry
Desired Skills and Experience:
* IPWEA Fleet Management Certificate
* Current AIS Motor and Heavy Vehicle Inspection Authority
* Forklift Licence, Class HR Driving Licence or Refrigerant Licence
