Job Title: Patient Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinical services and urgent care teams.
Your primary duties will include:
* Providing administrative support by undertaking tasks and referrals on SystmOne clinical system and clinical coding.
* Acting as a point of contact for patients and healthcare professionals.
* Communicating with patients over the phone in a professional manner to create a positive patient experience.
* Accurately recording patient details on SystmOne clinical system, ensuring good attention to detail.
* Taking responsibility for any patient enquiry and following through to conclusion.
* Dealing with patient information in a confidential manner.
You will work collaboratively across directorates, providing support as required, and contribute towards a positive patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum level 2 Maths and English or equivalent experience (GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 or above).
* Ability to work to high standards of accuracy.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good numeracy, administrative, and organisational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding and observing strict confidentiality.
