We are embarking on an exciting project of implementing this system and the ideal candidate will manage this project and serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for the UKG Ready & Payroll metrics system.You will be ensuring its optimal performance, end-to-end lifecycle, configuration, integration, and support within our organisation. This role will be leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project deliverables, timelines and to streamline HCM/payroll processes to enhance user experiences, and drive the adoption of the system across the organisation.This is a 12 month contract, with an opportunity to become permanent.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & ExecutionLead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle. Develop detailed project plans, project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones, and track progress through to completion within the cross-functional project team.System Administration & Ownership:Act as the primary owner and administrator of the UKG Ready system & payroll metrics, managing configurations, upgrades, and system settings to meet the organisation’s evolving needs.Maintain system health, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and integrity within UKG Ready.Manage user access, permissions, and roles to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.Collaborate with People & Safety, IT, and other departments to understand requirements and make recommendations for system improvements, enhancements, and customisations.Identify areas of inefficiency or improvement in existing processes and suggest solutions to optimize HCM workflows within UKG Ready.Manage system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Data & Reporting:Oversee the creation and maintenance of automated reports, dashboards, and analytics within UKG Ready to support HR and business operations.Ensure data is consistently accurate and up-to-date, collaborating with HR teams to handle employee records, payroll, timekeeping, and other critical information.System Integrations:Manage the integration of UKG Ready with other internal systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system compatibility.Work with external vendors and service providers as necessary to ensure integrations are working as expected.Training & Support:Provide training to end-users (HR teams, managers, and employees) on the functionality of UKG Ready, ensuring effective utilisation of system features.Offer troubleshooting support and respond to user inquiries related to system functionality, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.Compliance & Security:Ensure the UKG Ready system complies with all legal, regulatory, and industry standards, including data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Regularly audit the system for security vulnerabilities and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive employee data.Liaise with UKG support for troubleshooting, escalations, and product updates.Manage relationships with UKG or third-party vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, HR, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).5+ years of experience managing or administering UKG Ready/Pro or other similar HCM systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors).Strong understanding of Human Capital Management processes, including payroll, time and attendance, benefits administration, and employee records management.Experience with system integrations, data migration, and report development.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.Experience in e2e process mapping to understand user journeyStrong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in UKG Ready/Pro or other HCM systems.Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and BI platforms.Knowledge of current trends in HR technology and digital transformation.Personal Attributes:Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work with minimal supervision.A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge HR technologies and make a meaningful impact on the organisation’s workforce management processes.A collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages growth and development.Flexible work options and a focus on work-life balance.Application Instructions: Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and cover letter, highlighting their relevant experience with UKG Ready or similar systems.Please note: You must have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role.
