Property Management Business Development Manager

Overview
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking someone who thrives on meeting people, networking and generating business with a background in property to join our team. Previous experience in business development is preferred but not essential. We provide training and support, so for those who do not have previous experience in business development, we can help you succeed in this role.
This role is also an excellent opportunity for experienced Property Managers who are ready to take the next step — leveraging their strong understanding of property management services and client needs, to transition into a business development and relationship-driven position. Given your knowledge of the industry and day-to-day operations, you'll be well-placed to build meaningful referral partnerships and confidently represent our Property Management service in the marketplace.

The role
As a Momentum Wealth Property Management BDM, you will be responsible for nurturing existing and identifying new referral partner relationships to secure new managements. This means networking with Real Estate agents, Accountants, Financial Planners, etc to develop an effective stream of regular referrals. You will work closely with the Property Management team in the areas of business retention, fostering referrals and assisting in renewing management authorities when required. You will have the support of the Property Management and leasing team allowing you to focus on securing new managements and assisting the clients in getting the properties ready for market.
* Sales and business development ability
* Property Industry experience
* Current PM/ or Unrestricted Registration
* Ability to source new business through professional and personal networks
* Current driver's licence and own motor vehicle
* A desire to refer clients to other services within the business
* An ability to think strategically
To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter, a hunter who is results and outcome focused. You will have excellent relationship and networking skills, and the ability to develop and build successful referral relationships.
