Business Development Manager - Data & Integration Solutions (PDM/PLM/ERP)
This specialist tech organisation partners with industrial design, engineering and manufacturing companies across Australia and New Zealand — and they're looking for a senior hunter who knows how to open doors, shape business conversations, and close complex, integrated software deals.

What you'll be doing
* Drive new business across any industry you choose — engineering, defence, automotive, food processing, agriculture, medical and beyond.
* Lead strategic conversations with senior executives, uncovering critical challenges and shaping the solution strategy.
* Sell integrated software solutions spanning PDM, PLM, ERP and broader data integration services.
* Apply proven enterprise sales frameworks (SPIN, MEDDPICC, Challenger, Miller Heiman, etc.) to manage complex cycles and close high‑value business.
* Own your territory, pipeline and forecasting with full accountability.
* Work closely with pre‑sales and technical teams to design tailored solutions for each customer.
* Represent the business at industry events, conferences and client sites to build strong networks and drive opportunity flow.
This is a national role with paid interstate travel across NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS and NZ — perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting decision-makers and driving meaningful commercial outcomes.
What you'll bring
* 5+ years selling enterprise software or professional services into Industrial Design, Engineering or Manufacturing‑led clients.
* Strong track record leading executive‑level discussions and closing complex, high‑value deals.
* True hunter mindset — comfortable opening, driving and winning new business.
* Solid understanding of PDM, PLM, ERP and integration solutions within engineering/manufacturing environments.
* Highly organised, self‑driven, commercially sharp and disciplined with pipeline and territory management.
* Exceptional communication, presentation and influencing ability.
