About the role
You'll be part of the Taree Pharmacotherapy Unit, located on the grounds of Manning Base Hospital, working alongside a multidisciplinary team including Nursing staff, Doctors and Aboriginal Health Workers. The team is supportive, professional and focused on delivering safe, respectful and person-centred care. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the service while contributing to a welcoming and non-judgemental environment for clients.
Working closely with the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) and clinical staff, you'll provide essential administrative support to the Pharmacotherapy Unit. A typical day is varied and fast-paced, with responsibilities including:
* Answering phones and responding to enquiries
* Greeting and supporting clients in a professional and friendly manner
* Booking appointments and assisting with rostering tasks
* Entering data and maintaining accurate records
* Ordering supplies and supporting day-to-day operations
* Providing administrative support to the NUM and wider team
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. This role offers variety, with changing priorities and the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare setting.
