Job Description
WT Queensland is expanding and in line with this continued growth of operations, this is a new role to spearhead the highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate Brisbane team.
Reporting to the QLD senior leadership team, with a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officer, the QLD General Manager will work alongside our Directors and other members of the wider leadership team to develop and implement the QLD strategic plan. This includes developing actionable business strategies and plans with short and long-term objectives.
As a key member of the QLD management team this role is responsible for reporting operational results within the business, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business in accordance with the strategic plan and the operating and capital budgets.
This is a critical management role that will focus on driving results, spurring sustainable growth, and increasing the overall efficiency of the QLD business.

Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
6. Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a medium-large private sector business, ideally with national and international operations
7. Experience working with and supporting operational executives
8. Understanding of business planning and execution strategies and skills
9. A solid grasp of digital technologies, data analysis and performance metrics
10. Ability to identify risk, diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues, and to develop and implement mitigation strategies
11. Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis
12. Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing (highly regarded)
13. Team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
15. Excellent numeracy skills
