ROSTERING & WORKFORCE PLANNING COORDINATOR
4‑Month Contract + Likely Extension | Luddenham & Liverpool | Hybrid (1 Day WFH)
Are you a Roster Coordinator, Workforce Planner, or Scheduling Specialist looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience building rosters, solving coverage gaps, and supporting operations with accurate, compliant workforce plans?
This is a rare opportunity to join a large‑scale aviation operation undergoing a period of growth and operational readiness. You’ll play a key role in rostering, scheduling, workforce planning, and day‑to‑day operational coordination across two airport‑associated sites in Luddenham and Liverpool, with one day WFH each week.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical and highly operational environment, and enjoys working closely with stakeholders to keep the workforce running smoothly.
The Role
You will support the Workforce Planning Manager by delivering accurate workforce rosters, solving coverage issues, and ensuring the daily operation has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Build, update and publish work rosters for operational teamsManage daily scheduling adjustments, including sick leave, shift changes, and short‑notice staffingMaintain time & attendance records, leave management and payroll‑ready dataSupport operational leadership by forecasting staffing requirementsWork closely with multiple stakeholders across operations, safety, people & culture and site leadersMaintain workforce planning reporting, dashboards, roster metrics and status updatesTrack compliance (EBA, fatigue rules, licence/competency) within the rosterAssist with site planning, documentation updates, and operational coordination activitiesProvide rostering and scheduling insights for operational readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You bring operational maturity, strong rostering discipline, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Experience as a Roster Coordinator, Workforce Planner, Scheduler, Resource Planner, Allocator, or similarHands‑on experience with rostering systems (Kronos, Humanforce, Deputy, GroundStar, Emplive, Riteq, etc.)Understanding of compliance rules such as EBA requirements, fatigue management or shift‑based workforce rulesStrong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to analyse staffing data, identify coverage gaps and suggest improvementsExperience in aviation, transport, logistics, hospitals, call centres, emergency services or other 24/7 operational environments (highly desirable)
