This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in a learning and skills development program within Shellharbour City Council. The position involves delivering activation, events, arts, and cultural activities, along with place-based and targeted group engagement activities within the Shellharbour Civic Centre and across the region.This opportunity is suitable for both school leavers and mature applicants who are eligible for a Certificate III in Events and do not already hold a higher qualification. The traineeship is expected to start in July 2025 and combines practical and theoretical training supported by Council and TAFE.Shellharbour City Council's Cadet, Apprentice and Trainee (CAT) Program aims to enhance workforce capacity by creating job opportunities, developing future leaders, and providing professional development aligned with external tertiary courses.
