About The Role
As Head of Special Education Services, you will lead inclusive education across two welcoming school communities, Cloncurry State School P to 12 (0.90 FTE) and Julia Creek State School (0.10 FTE). As Head of Special Education Services, you will provide expert guidance to staff, upskill teams in strategies that support students with disabilities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive student success. As Head of Special Education Services, you will play a vital role in the leadership and student support teams, delivering targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions and helping to create a learning environment where every student can thrive. As Head of Special Education Services, your strong collaboration, flexibility, time management, and deep understanding of students with disabilities will make a meaningful difference in both school communities.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Special Education Services (H01), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program.
* Lead and manage the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program to provide advice to classroom teachers for students with disability as needed.
