Cerner is looking for an Engagement Owner to join the Engagement Management team in Australia. This is an exciting team that looks to push the boundaries of what can be done and is part of the wider organization of Cerner Consulting. You will be part of a dynamic team in which collaborative working will be paramount. As well as delivering value to clients, you will be expected to contribute and identify areas for process improvement internally.
- As an Engagement Owner you are the project manager that will oversee the Cerner implementation and client relationships for external ITC projects and internal development and process improvement projects. You will be responsible for working closely with client counterparts to support project implementations through day-to-day project management tasks, planning, risk and issue management, value achievement, and financial management. You will also provide support to the project team members and are responsible for supporting the resource requirements to meet contracted project plan deliverables.**Working Environment**:

**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree **and/or** 4 years relevant work experience
- Plus 2 years completed higher education **and/or** additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
- 1 year in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- PRINCE2 Foundations
- Excel and MS Project experience
- PPM experience
**Expectations**:
- The role has a travel expectation of up to 80% and are based in Australia.
- Flexibility in the Engagement Owner role is important to be successful and there may be times when the work requires you to work irregular hours or after hours
