ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive external audit specialist to join our Professional Standards team. You'll play a key role in transforming and enhancing our Quality Review Program, supporting members in public practice, and contributing to the integrity of the CA designation.
Key responsibilities:
Update forms, letters, and checklists to support the review program
Analyse and summarise review results to internal and external stakeholders
Provide technical assistance, training, tools and resources to practitioner members and reviewers
Respond to and prepare correspondence for members and reviewers
Prepare files for referral to professional conduct
ABOUT YOU
You're a confident communicator with strong analytical skills and a commitment to professional standards. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively, and you're passionate about helping others improve. You offer:
Strong external Audit experience, ideally including audits of Public Interest Entities, with involvement in monitoring and remediation of client engagements
Broad based public practice experience, preferably gained in a large or mid-tier firm environment
Solid understanding of Australian and International standards and legal requirements; including quality, professional, auditing and financial reporting standards
Expertise in compliance and risk management highly desirable
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
holding a CA or CPA designation.
