Operations Coordinator Job Description

Overview

The Operations Coordinator will support the infrastructure, facilities & maintenance requirements across all campuses. They will also be required to set up consumables & materials in the ERP system to maintain stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and record maintenance activities in infrastructure & facilities management system
* Manage and Maintain contractor records
* Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled
* Assist sourcing the most cost-effective materials, goods, products, and services
* Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary
* Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock
* Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers

Requirements

* Ability to manage and maintain maintenance records in preparation for audits and compliance requirements
* Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
* Exceptional organisational and planning skills
* Excellent networking and time management skills
* Experience in developing tenders and RFQ documentation
* Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
* Hands-on experience with purchasing software
* Understanding of supply chain procedures
