Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill a permanent, full-time position as a Documentation & Quality Advisor. Reporting to our Quality Manager, this role will be responsible for maintaining quality management documentation, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and actively participating in quality control processes.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess 3+ years' experience in a similar position, such as Document Control or Quality Compliance roles. You should also have ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Certification, which is highly desirable. Your proven technical writing abilities, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and associated computer programs will be essential in this role. Additionally, you must display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety, and well-being of all employees, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. A valid Australian Driver's Licence is also required.
Responsibilities:
This role involves maintaining and updating quality management documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements, supporting internal and external audits, and designing and writing procedures, forms, and technical documents in collaboration with subject matter experts. You will also assist the Engineering Project Manager with reviewing drawings, developing and updating safe work instructions, and maintaining quality process documentation. Furthermore, you will work closely with engineering teams to ensure fabrication processes adhere to approved quality standards, maintain quality records, reports, and logs for full traceability, and conduct quality control inspections against project specifications and standards. You will also participate in root cause analysis, compiling traceability data within MyOSH, and report monthly quality Lean metrics to the Quality Manager for review.
