Job Summary
The key measurables of the position is to deliver scheduled counts in a timely manner and to a high quality with accurate reporting. The role requires a hands‐on Inventory Controller with proven inventory system knowledge and strong mathematical acumen.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the printing, parts location search, recording of counts and book stock values and reconciliation for all count cards daily or as required by predetermined systems or ad hoc count requests for the Melbourne warehouse facility.
* File count records systematically and retrieve records for audit purposes.
* Direct and coordinate count activities with warehouse staff assigned to count activities.
* Support the warehouse administration team in managing warehouse systems that control warehouse inventory and accuracy, such as Modula storage tower systems.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience within Warehouse Operations or a similar industry involving inventory or stock control and management of available resources.
* High attention to detail and ability to read reference material to identify parts.
* Experience using ERP systems, WMS systems (preferably Manhattan) & Parts identification systems (preferably Epsilon).
* Statistical skills in generating performance reports.
Key Performance Indicators
* Daily count quantities completed as required.
* Reports generated and/or maintained.
* Accurate execution of stock adjustments where there is a reported stock variance.
