Lead Youth Worker Role:
The Lead Youth Worker plays a key mentoring role within the home, working closely alongside the House Manager to support a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
Responsibilities:
The Lead Youth Worker will participate in and support young people's Cultural Support Plan and work closely with the House Manager on daily operations by assisting with tasks such as maintaining the house planner, grocery list, cleaning checklists, identifying risks and concerns, and upling these to the House Manager.
The ideal candidate is experienced in residential youth work, passionate about working with children and young people, being a strong role model, and having good personal values.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1+ years' experience in residential care/youth work, completed a Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work or Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar, and hold a current QLD Paid Blue Card and Australian driver's licence.
