The Position
With a history of over 70 years and a reputation as a leading national provider of high-quality disability support services, Scope seeks a collaborative Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organisation into its next chapter.
The CEO will embody purpose, vision, and values across Scope, leading the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to set and realize the organisation's culture, strategic direction, and operational priorities. The focus is on empowering clients to belong, thrive, and live their dreams, with a commitment to meeting future needs sustainably in a person-centred support environment.
Ideal candidates will have proven CEO or senior executive experience in delivering high-quality human services within complex environments, demonstrating leadership in strategic and operational excellence where people, quality, safety, and wellbeing are paramount.
The successful candidate will be highly self-aware, empathetic, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills. They will foster a collaborative culture, build positive stakeholder relationships, and have a reputation for integrity and consistent delivery amidst strong governance and ongoing change. A contemporary, consultative leadership style, warmth, authenticity, and credibility are essential to inspire others.
Relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications are expected.
