Following the unification of several trusted brands under a national identity, the business is in a major growth phase.About the RoleWe are recruiting a Strategic Business Development Director to lead and execute the organisation’s business development strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this newly created leadership role will focus on securing national contracts, expanding client relationships, and strengthening market share in the green space services sector.You’ll lead a high-performing business development and marketing team and work closely with Operations, Bid Services, and the Executive Leadership Team. The position also includes exposure to the Board.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a national growth strategy to drive new business acquisition and market expansionBuild and manage a high-value pipeline of opportunities through targeted campaigns, referrals, and networkingLead and mentor a results-driven BD and marketing team, setting clear KPIs and performance objectivesOversee high-quality proposal and marketing material development to support new business winsCollaborate with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Bid Services) to ensure service alignment with client needsBuild relationships with key external stakeholders, including clients and partners, and engage regularly with the BoardDrive CRM strategy to ensure accurate pipeline reporting and data-led decision makingWhat We’re Looking ForExtensive strategic senior business development experience, ideally in B2B services or environmental/landscape-focused sectorsProven ability to secure large national accounts and deliver revenue growthStrong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teamsStrategic mindset with the ability to translate growth goals into actionable plansExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including Board-level engagementProficiency in CRM (Hubspot preferred) and performance trackingTertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related fieldApply NowSend your resume today to be considered for thisstrategic leadership role and help lead the growth of a green space services leader.
