About HABIT-ILE
HABIT-ILE (
Hand-Arm Bimanual Intensive Training Including Lower Extremity
) is a two-week intensive program run by
Cerebral Palsy Alliance
for children and teens with cerebral palsy. The program focuses on improving bimanual skills and motor functions through engaging, goal-directed therapy.
Volunteer Role
Volunteers play a vital role in supporting therapy teams and participants. You can volunteer for one week or both—any help is appreciated For the best outcomes for participants, continuity of volunteers across the program is ideal.

Program Dates & Times
Week 1: ***** January ****, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Week 2: ***** January ****, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Tasks & Responsibilities
Contribute to an engaging, goal-oriented, strength-based group environment
Support kids 1:1 to engage in goal-directed therapy
Assist with activity setup and pack down
Note: Volunteers do not assist with direct care duties (e.g., mealtime assistance, personal care, lifting, medication, or transport) unless training has been provided
You will be supervised by an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist
