We are seeking a Warehouse and Fulfilment Manager to join our new team as we transition into this exciting new chapter.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibility in this role will be managing all warehouse operations, including planning, organising and controlling daily activities. These activities will include, but are not limited to:
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing orders
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and create processes to meet organisational goals
* Ensure outgoing orders are checked for quality control and securely packed for dispatch.
* Maintain efficient inventory systems, including counts, locations and optimisation of warehouse layout and workflows
* Establishing shipping protocols, including labelling and documentation related to dispatch and working with domestic freight companies to ensure lean warehouse practices
* Consider OH&S guidelines at all times, ensuring the warehouse meets all compliance and safety requirements
* Manage the warehouse team including ongoing training, fostering a positive workplace culture and be involved in the recruitment and onboarding of casuals during seasonal peaks
* Work collaboratively with other departments to meet desired productivity and company goals.
* Facilitate and organise our trade show stand at least twice a year including relocation, setup, packdown and attendance
* Maintain high levels of housekeeping of warehouse and site
* Take responsibility for all documentation requirements for proper warehouse administration, including but not limited to shipping, up to date licensing, racking audits and warehouse and safety equipment.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 5 years warehouse experience
* Strong organisational skills, with a sharp attention to detail and time management
* Exceptional communication skills
* Strong computer literacy with MSOffice and preferably MYOB and Shopify (or something comparable)
* Physical fitness for heavy lifting
* A driver's licence AND A forklift licence
* A confident and pleasant nature when interacting with customers
