Provide leadership, planning, and oversight to the onshore engineering team supporting an FPSO operation.
Ensure engineering deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including ownership of MOC and TQ processes.

Oversee engineering budget, resourcing, contract scopes, and technical compliance.
Maintain the integrity of engineering documentation, systems, and the digital twin environment.
About This Role
Brunel is proud to partner with a global energy business to appoint anEngineering Leadto support one of Australia's key offshore assets.
Based in Darwin and reporting to the Technical Maintenance Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering function to deliver safe, compliant, and technically sound outcomes across operations and projects.
Provide leadership, planning, and oversight to the onshore engineering team supporting an FPSO operation.
Ensure engineering deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including ownership of MOC and TQ processes.
Act as the focal point for client and contractor engineering interfaces, driving collaboration and clarity.
Oversee engineering budget, resourcing, contract scopes, and technical compliance.
Maintain the integrity of engineering documentation, systems, and the digital twin environment.
Requirements
Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation).
Strong engineering leadership experience within the Oil & Gas industry, ideally with FPSO or offshore exposure.
Proven understanding of Process Safety, MOC, TQ, Safety Cases, and digital engineering systems.
Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities and team coordination experience.
Residing in, or willing to relocate to, Darwin/Northern Territory.
