JRM Resources are expanding their business and we're building a talented and driven team to support operations on site. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Trainer & Assessor to lead the development and delivery of training for mobile plant operators in a dynamic mining and civils environment.
This is a site-based role on an 8:6 roster with camp accommodation provided.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Deliver training and assessment for a range of mobile plant operations (e.g. excavators, loaders, dozers, graders)
* Develop, implement, and review training and competency-based packages tailored to site requirements
* Monitor and maintain compliance with training records, systems, and legislative standards
* Coach and mentor operators to uplift safety and performance
* Contribute to safety initiatives and continuous improvement across site operations
* Work collaboratively with the WH&S, Site admin and HR teams to understand achieve training expectations and milestones
* Ensure that all VOC activities are planned, delivered and recorded effectively and efficiently
What We're Looking For:
* Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
* Valid WA Driver's licence
* Current mobile plant tickets and proven operational experience in mining/civil construction
* Demonstrated experience developing and executing training content and packages
* Strong understanding of compliance, WHS regulations, and site safety systems
* Excellent computer literacy – confident with training software, reporting, and record management
* A proactive, safety-first mindset and strong interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with a range of key stakeholders including clients, supervisors and work crews
* Ability to prioritise work demands and meet required timelines to achieve the set objective.
* Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
