Mulungu Aboriginal Corporation Primary Health Care Service is dedicated to enhancing health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. As an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organization, we provide comprehensive health and social services aimed at improving the overall well-being of the Indigenous community we serve.

Position Overview
The role of the Asset Officer is integral to the Corporate Services Team. You will be responsible for supporting the management and optimization of our organization's physical assets, ensuring they are safe, functional, and compliant with established frameworks and standards. Your duties will include monitoring asset performance, coordinating maintenance, and supporting the overall operational management of our resources.
As an Asset Officer, you will report directly to the Deputy CEO and collaborate with various internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate asset data and timely maintenance responses.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of asset management processes and have experience in cross-cultural environments. You will demonstrate effective communication skills and have the ability to engage with diverse populations, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
* Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant experience is desirable.
* Experience with administrative and asset management systems an advantage.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
* A current 'C' Class Driver's License (Queensland) is required.
* Ability to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and current Federal Police Check (within the last six months) Prior to commencement.
Your proactive approach to quality improvement and commitment to workplace health and safety will be essential in this role. You will also participate in ongoing professional development to improve your skills and knowledge.
