The Opportunity
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Ascott Garden. This role requires availability on weekends and involves performing cooking and kitchen duties.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to facility residents by maintaining excellent cooking and food service standards within the facility.
What you will bring to the role:
* Experience in planning, preparing, and cooking fresh meals
* Experience in table service and clearing duties
* Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments or bulk food preparation (desirable)
* Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance
* Experience in Aged Care (desirable)
* Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
* Excellent communication skills
* Team-oriented and highly motivated
* Availability for various shifts across different days
