About the opportunity:
Position: Clinical Nurse
Vacancy: Permanent Part-time, hours negotiable.
Location: Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility / Kirwan Health Campus / Kirwan / Townsville
The facility provides care for 70 residents with 30 places for dementia care and 40 places for older persons who require care due to fragility and complex care needs.

4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Rural Hospitals Service Group network to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or a NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
