The Role
Working alongside a Doyle’s Guide Practice Leader and their technology industry leading lawyers and some of the sharpest minds around, you will be responsible for all aspects of patent and design prosecution, enforcement and IP strategy.
Duties:
- Prepare and file patent and design applications in Australia and internationally
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and solutions to clients on design/patent matters
- Develop and implement patent strategies aligned with client objectives
- Assist with IP litigation matters
- Draft cease and desist letters and responses
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their technical and commercial needs
- Communicate complex legal and technical information to clients
- Participate in business development activities
- Stay abreast of developments in intellectual property law and relevant technical fields
You
- Registered patent attorney with 3+ years experience
- Strong on client service and building long term relationships
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to details in all aspects of work
- A strong commitment to client service and building long-term relationships
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Understanding of business drivers and how intellectual property contributes to commercial success
