Responsibilities
Working as part of a team delivering safe, sustainable and efficient management of bridge infrastructure across the Country Regional Network (CRN), this role plays a critical part in shaping the future of regional transport assets. This role will see you plan, develop and coordinate annual bridge maintenance and improvement programs, ensuring risks are managed and service levels are maintained for local communities and freight operators. You'll contribute to multi‐year strategies, provide specialist engineering advice, and support the delivery of projects that meet time, cost, quality, safety and environmental objectives. You will lead the development of innovative asset management strategies and identify efficiencies in a dynamic environment where prioritising resources and managing competing demands are key challenges.
About You
Your technical expertise and analytical skills, formed across civil/structural engineering and asset management roles, will see you excel in planning and prioritising works programmes, overcoming delivery challenges, and ensuring whole‐of‐life outcomes for bridge assets. You're recognised as a strategic thinker and problem solver, skilled at interpreting complex data and experienced in the design, construction and maintenance of bridges.
Essential Requirements
* A four‐year civil/structural engineering degree or equivalent.
* Experience in asset management and bridge engineering.
