Roster:Overtime (if required) + 7 Day Standby Roster scheduled every 4 weeks
Competitive rate:$***** per hour + Penalties + On Call Allowance for Standby Rosters

Downer's Energy & Utilities business has a unique opportunity for local Team Members who are seeking permanent work to join our Gas Mains and Services crew in Horsham, VIC.
Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality construction, fault response, and maintenance activities on gas mains and services throughout the gas distribution networks in the Horsham, Stawell and Ararat area.
Reporting to Site Supervisor located at Warrnambool, VIC, duties may include:
Performing mains and services breakdowns, corrective maintenance and minor construction activities
Providing reliable emergency response services during regular and after-hours operations to ensure a swift and effective resolution of issues
Assist with ordering and installing materials and quarry products as required to complete the allocated works
Carry out emergency maintenance to ensure the safe and continued supply of the distribution system.
ABOUT YOU
Site Proficient:Previous experience working within excavation, landscaping or outdoor work, with previous Gas, Civil or utilities experience
Technically Proficient:Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform physically demanding tasks
Team Oriented:Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
Site Qualifications:Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card - within the last 3 years.
MR, HR, MC or relevant Truck Licence (required).
Gas or Plumbing qualifications (desired).
Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
