Job Title: Associate Landscape Architect Company: National Design StudioLocation: Melbourne About The Firm This highly regarded, award winning specialist landscape architecture design firm with offices in Melbourne and Perth, are looking to appoint an Associate Landscape Architect on a permanent basis.They boast over 30 years of experience delivering projects across Western Australia, Victoria & New South Wales and employ 30 staff across the two offices.
Position Overview Reporting to the Melbourne Director, you will support a team of 8 Landscape Architects deliver outstanding projects across the region.
This is an opportunity to run projects from inception to delivery - including contract administration.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the landscape architecture department in Melbourne.
Foster a collaborative and innovative culture, encouraging creative thinking and design excellence.
Lead client engagements, ensuring high-quality project delivery from concept through construction.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet client and company goals.
Mentor and develop team members, nurturing their growth and professional development.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain their competitive edge.
The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
Circa 7+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of successful project leadership in Victoria.
Robust design and project management skills with experience in a variety of project types, including greenfield, public play spaces etc.
Experience in Contract Administration is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
