Known internally as an Alstom Performance System (APSYS) Leader, this title shows just how much Alstom takes pride in supporting our employees to progress their careers and support overall continuous improvement throughout our business. With a focus on coordinating and challenging improvement actions to reach targets to deliver operational performance & develop local best practices, this is an exciting, rewarding and far reaching opportunity that is highly valued by the team.This role is well supported by senior specialists in the field allowing us to consider more junior applicants with an understanding of and interest in lean manufacturing.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Work with senior leaders to roll out the Alstom Performance system (Continuous improvement) roadmap
- Support each department in this roll out, providing on-field expertise on lean & continuous improvement tools
- Consolidate and report deployment status on a monthly basis to Depot Managers and Alstom Performance system(Continuous improvement) team/ ANZ Quality
- Assist the Operations by reviewing task sequencing, reducing non-added value tasks, developing methods and tools to improve results
- Map local processes flow chart and identify room for improvement
- Support Quality Teams in Problem Solving approach with proper implementation and tailoring of problem solving methods

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement projects and a passion for problem solving
- Demonstrated use of lean principles (5S, Standard, Gemba, VSM, problem solving, performance and kaizen mindset)
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
