Our business is continually growing and we are seeking a motivated and reliable Qualified Pastry Chef to join our experienced decorating team
About you:
Qualified Pastry Chef
Experience decorating cakes and slices with glazes, icings, butter-cream and edible toppings
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment
Creative flair and keen interest to assist with product development
Adhering to food hygiene procedures and safety requirements, knowledge of HACCP desirable
Reliable and punctual team member
Available to work 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, 4 weekdays and Sunday (No Saturdays)
Able to work effectively in a team under pressure
Ability to complete highly repetitive tasks, some heavy lifting is required
Must have full Australian work rights
Key Responsibilities
Assist the team to meet production goals
Decorate cakes and slices, piping and finish products consistently to a high quality
Preparing pastry fillings, measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately
