**About the Role**
To support our Maintenance and Installation Team, We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter/ Instrument Technician to join our team at our newly constructed
**Nowra branch** Co2 plant. You will be working closely with the
**Nowra** Co2 Plant Manager and various Maintenance teams, providing safe and efficient maintenance services. Previous industry and gas experience is an advantage but not essential.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance of all Supagas plants, branches, customer installations, tanker & ISO's including all related activities
- Operate MEX complete maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist with drafting and updating of Supagas standard operating procedures as required
- Carry out risk assessments, 'Management of Change' and work permits as required
- Ensure that all spare parts are stored, catalogued and that spare parts are replenished as soon as they are used
- Ordering and re-ordering of parts/spare parts for maintenance, installations or breakdowns
- Proactively walking the floor and undertaking daily checks to ensure reliability of equipment.
- Organise and supervise subcontractors performing maintenance and project work on site
- Monitor equipment performance and be involved in plant efficiency programmes. This will require after hours call out and monitoring of plant equipment.
- Participate in any training as deemed necessary by management.
- Performing batch analysis and adhering to process requirements for HACCP.
**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum of **two years' experience**:
- Similar fitter/technician role. Experience in the gas industy is prefered but not essential.
- Electrical connect and disconnect licence
- Self-motivated
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work autonomously and independently
- Lateral thinker with excellent fault-finding skills
- **Flexible **and **adaptable **to handle high pressure situations and have high level of **resilience**:
- Excellent **time management**skills, **well organised **and are natural planners.
