As a trusted advisor to management, you will provide both strategic and operational HR leadership, ensuring our people practices align with business objectives and support continued organisational success.
Responsibilities
* Lead the end‐to‐end employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, succession planning and off‐boarding.
* Partner with managers and operational leaders to provide expert advice and coaching on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation, awards, regulations and industry standards, including the Fair Work Act, Security Services Industry Award and workplace health and safety requirements.
* Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, frameworks and initiatives that support organisational objectives and best practice.
* Manage and continuously improve recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high‐quality employees.
* Oversee learning and development programmes, including management of the Learning Management System, training compliance and capability‐building initiatives.
* Lead workers' compensation and return‐to‐work processes, ensuring positive outcomes for employees and the business.
* Maintain oversight of compliance systems and certifications, including WHS, ISO standards, CM3, Labour Hire Licensing and related audit requirements.
* Manage organisational communications and contribute to employee engagement and culture initiatives across the business.
* Oversee HR systems and employee records, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
* Support payroll continuity through cross‐functional knowledge and backup capability where required.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Employment Relations or a related discipline.
* Minimum of five years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager role.
* Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks and HR best practice.
* Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance management processes and organisational change initiatives.
* Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‐on operational delivery.
* Experience managing compliance frameworks, workplace health and safety obligations and organisational governance.
* High‐level proficiency across HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
