Haigh’s Chocolates is a family-owned chocolate maker established in 1915. We employ over 900 people across 22 retail stores in multiple locations, online, plus two factories and head office. We roast cocoa beans and create premium chocolate, with handmade production and advanced manufacturing techniques. We are a chocolate “bean to bar” specialist committed to premium quality.
We have a number of casual opportunities for customer-focused Retail Assistants to join our Chatswood (Chatswood) and Castle Towers stores as we head into the busy Christmas season. We’re seeking team members with strong availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends, who are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences every time.
Who are we looking for? Experienced Retail Assistants who take pride in creating unforgettable customer moments through outstanding service. As a Haigh’s ambassador, you’ll bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of chocolate to every shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and create memorable in-store experiences
- Act as a Haigh’s ambassador with warmth, enthusiasm and product passion
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Learn and share detailed product knowledge with customers
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
- Maintain a proactive and professional approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude in a dynamic retail environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality
- Availability to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends
- A strong passion for customer service and a memorable in-store experience
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- A desire to learn and share detailed product knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and professional problem-solving mindset
