Pig Breeding Lead Technician Role
We are seeking an experienced Pig Breeding Head Technicians to lead our breeding program in Coomandook. The position involves planning and coordinating breeding activities, collecting and processing pig semen, performing artificial insemination procedures, and administering care to the sow herd.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate breeding activities to optimize genetic gain
* Collect and process high-quality pig semen for artificial insemination
* Maintain accurate records of animal health, nutrition, and breeding performance
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Certificate III or higher in Animal Science or relevant experience. Strong knowledge in farrowing management and herd health monitoring is essential.
