Founded in 1997, the Amora group owns and operates six Asia Pacific properties, with three in Australia and three in Thailand. The group has recently opened its inaugural corporate office in Sydney, which will spearhead a growth plan to double its portfolio from six to twelve hotels in five years.
The Amora service is a pleasure for our guests and our team is at the heart of every guest experience. We are currently recruiting for a casual Porter to join our friendly Concierge Team.
The Role
As an energizing and confident casual Porter, you will join our creative and diverse Concierge Team, connecting with people and making things happen at Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney. Being able to multi-task and care for our guests will ensure your day is full of exciting challenges but also manageable with different priorities.
This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your professional hospitality career within an international company.
Primary Responsibilities
* Valet parking of guest cars
* Delivery of luggage to guest rooms
* Assisting with guest enquiries e.g. directions, recommendations of restaurants, events, tourist attractions…
* Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues & complaints
Roles Requirements
* High level of grooming and personal presentation
* High level of both written and verbal communication
* Flexible to work on a 7-day rotating roster
* Working rights in Australia
* Valid NSW unrestricted driving license is MUST
* Being able to handle physical demanding job
